Mapping access to services to estimate community resilience – Edina geoforum

I gave a talk last week at the Edina GeoForum. Edina provide the Digimap service which gives UK education access to mapping and data.
The talk I gave was on using spatial data to help understand community resilience. My colleague Elliot Meador led a project for the National Centre for Resilience, and this talk presented some of the ideas from that.
You can get the slides from Zenodo:
Michael Spencer, & Elliot Meador. (2020, March). Mapping access to services to estimate community resilience – Edina geoforum. Zenodo. http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3695519
Below is a map from the project. The map was created in QGIS with spatial analysis from GRASS and R. The slides contain links to the data and code repositories.
